The Copywriter is responsible for creating all the written content that appears on all SMASH! media including the SMASH! website, blogs posts, and newsletters. The Copywriter will be required to, but not limited to:

• Write copy for online content including the SMASH! website, Newsletters, blogs, etc.
• Write copy as required by the Website Content Editor and Newsletter Editor
• Write copy that adheres to the SMASH! brand
• Write copy in line with the SMASH! theme as necessary
• Ensure all required tasks are completed on time
• Research to ensure information on copy is correct and up to date
• Write copy for other Marketing projects and campaigns as required, such as flyers, posters, Event Guide, etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Contactable on a regular basis via email and phone. Strong communication skills in English. Attend meetings, workshops and activities as required. Available for convention day(s) in Sydney, Australia to assist Marketing Team in OTD activities Strong time-management skills Copywriting skills Strong teamwork skills Strong attention to detail Strong creativity Familiarity with anime, manga, and cosplay culture, including current and upcoming trends Knowledge or experience in marketing campaigns and implementation
